Three Kiddos and Cake – Avon, IN Cake Smash Photographer

These three little lades all share similar birth dates. So, their moms’ decided to have a fun Birthday Cake Smash session with all of them together. It was tons of fun but also a huge mess. No complaints here though, the messier the better in my book!

Super Bowl XLVI Pictures – Indianapolis, IN

Typically I shoot pictures of people. I really enjoy capturing emotion and relationships in people. However, the Super Bowl happens to be happening in my home town – Indianapolis, IN. Since I know Indianapolis inside and out, I thought it would be a shame if I didn’t snap a few pictures during this once in a life time opportunity.

How can you not love these larger then life roman numerals?! To understand how big these really were, look at the little dots on the ground. Those are people.

This one is for all my ExactTarget friends…

Indianapolis has lots of food trucks that roam the streets. They are kind of like ice cream trucks for adults. They don’t make themselves easy to find by playing music. You typically have to hunt them down by following the trucks on Twitter. During the Super Bowl they were are conveniently in one place – lined up around the circle. This made it super easy to grab a tasty bite of food!

Inspiration through Art Photographer – Indianapolis, IN

I’m super excited to announce that I have been accepted as a photographer for Inspiration through Art (formerly The Littlest Heroes Project). For those of you who haven’t heard of the program it is a non-profit comprised of photographers working with a team of very special little kids to bring to light some of the very difficult illnesses they are facing. The goal is for these photographers to give back to their community by donating art – specifically family photography. This program reaches out to families who have children who suffer from any type of serious illness or life altering disability.

While I would never wish serious illness or life altering disabilities on anyone (especially children), I’m excited to give back to these children and their families by doing free portrait sessions for them. Weymouth Twins 3 Month Pictures – Indianapolis Twin Photography

Last weekend I had the pleasure of shooting the Weymouth twins – Connor and Camden. Shooting twins is a fun challenge. When working with little ones, I always work off the baby’s schedule, not mine. However, when there are two little ones, how do you decide who’s schedule to work on? We had fun taking pictures between naps, feedings, and changings.

If you follow my blog, you may remember these two cuties from their Indianapolis twin newborn photography 3 months ago. These two are growing up into the most adorable little pair!

Is it possible to looks at this and not crack a smile??

Camden wouldn’t take his eyes off me throughout the whole session…

The Waddell Family at Butler University: Indianapolis Family Photography

Meet the Waddell family. They might possibly be the 2nd best family (only after my own, of course) that I know. If you know anything about the Waddell family, you know that they LOVE Butler University – specifically Butler Men’s Basketball. So, it was only appropriate that they take their family photos on Butler’s campus.

The crazy thing about these photos is that they were taken in the middle of January in Indiana. Typically that means snow and windchill of -20 deg. Not this year, we have green grass and only slightly rosy cheeks.

Photography for Social Profiles: Jeff Pitcock

Jeff wanted to have some pictures taken so that his social networking profiles could be up to date. So, we did a senior-like session, but with a working professional. I admire Jeff for realizing something that most people forget – It is important to have updated photos of yourself no matter what stage of life you are in (seniors, babies, and brides shouldn’t get all the attention). For these photos, we were near downtown Chicago. I loved all the fun architecture we found! I really need to find more clients in Chicago so that I can explore even more of it – so fun!
